Terms of Service

Effective July 25, 2026
Also see our Privacy Policy.

These terms cover your use of Learn.Terrific.Life — a math practice service: SSAT and ISEE math for grades 5–10, and grade-level math practice for grades 2–10. Math only. The SSAT and ISEE also have verbal, reading and writing sections, and we do not offer those. By creating an account or using the service, you're agreeing to these terms. Questions any time: [email protected].

Who can create an account

An account is created by an adult — a parent, guardian, or teacher — who is at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and legally able to consent on behalf of any student they add. Learn.Terrific.Life is not designed for a child to sign up on their own, and a student's own device is connected using a one-time code the account holder generates, not by the student creating anything themselves. If you're an account holder, you're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under your account.

What the service is

Learn.Terrific.Life gives students timed and untimed practice tests, adaptive missions built around their own real performance, and a plain-language progress read for the adult supervising them. It's currently free during early access — see Pricing for the current details. If that ever changes, we'll tell you before anything is charged.

AI-generated content

Practice questions, hints, and progress summaries are generated with the help of AI and independently cross-checked for correctness before they're shown to a student. Even with that review, AI-generated educational content can occasionally contain an error. If a student or parent spots one, the in-app "report a problem" link on every question — or a note to [email protected] — goes straight into our review queue. A generated progress summary or plan is meant to be a useful, informational read, not a substitute for a real educational evaluation, an official test administration, or a teacher's own professional judgment — and we don't promise any particular score improvement.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

We may suspend or terminate an account that does any of the above.

Your content

Whatever you type in — a student's nickname, a report note, a support email — stays yours. Creating an account gives us only the limited right to use it to actually run the service for you (see our Privacy Policy for exactly how). We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it to train anything beyond what's needed to generate your own student's practice content and progress summaries.

Ending your account

You can delete your account, or a single student's profile, at any time from within the app. Deletion is real and immediate — the underlying data goes with it, not just a flag marking it inactive. We may also suspend or end an account ourselves for a genuine violation of these terms, misuse of the service, or a legal requirement to do so.

No warranty

Learn.Terrific.Life is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI-generated question, hint, or summary will always be perfectly correct — see the AI-generated content section above for how to report an issue when you find one.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Learn.Terrific.Life and the people who build it aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits any liability that can't legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we'll update this page with a new effective date and make a reasonable effort to let account holders know. Continuing to use Learn.Terrific.Life after a change means you accept the updated terms.
